I received this dollar in my change at the grocery store recently. I was a bit down that day and this lifted my spirits right back up. You know why? Because I'm damn special that's why!

I received this love letter of sorts from a really sweet homeless traveler named Mike while I was working at the cafe. There are three in total but this is my favorite one.

I received this pen drawn Manga portrait of myself from a neat young lady named Shu while I was working one day at the cafe this past summer.

I received this most deluxe stand-up collage done by a customer named Tricia from the cafe. She gave this to me on a day we were very busy doing a two day fall festival. It was displayed for all to see and get a good hearty laugh at. I didn't mind at all. My self-esteem is intact. Well, it had to be that day!

This badge was made for me the first day I worked at our local U.S. Post Office Annex. I was absolutely elated to learn more about the postal system to gain a broader understanding of how my postcards and such get to their intended destinations! And People were really patient and nice to me that day.

This magnet was given to me one day from a very different kind of customer that you don't see to often around here. It was spring and "she" walked into the cafe and of course all heads turned. I went out of my way to wait on and have a great, loud and animated conversation with her. She came back a few hours later and ran into the store to give me her thanks of being treated so well and this magnet. It was a very cool afternoon after that surprise moment.
